Admittedly, these are most likely to be the portable appliances, but we deal with those elsewhere on this site on a post devoted to the most silent portable generator units.

When you step up a gear from portable, what is available in terms of silent home generator units or systems that are going to be so quiet as to not intrude on you or, indeed, your neighbours?
